I believe they were restored in Linux 2.6.19.1 and that's why 2.6.19.1 is 
listed as the minimum kernel headers version.  (However, using current 
kernel headers is generally recommended and will result in EGLIBC binaries 
that can use features of newer kernels if available at runtime.)
