I don't know the exact details of the configuration triplets and build
options, but it's certainly built for e500 GNU/Linux, using the e500 ABI.

To clarify, the toolchain is configured as powerpc-none-gnu-linux, and includes 5 multilibs. One of which is the e500 one you want -- actually two are, one is for v1 and one for v2 ISAs.
