If it's just a matter of a few simple patches, it seems appropriate to
me for EGLIBC to support LinuxThreads. A core goal for EGLIBC is
inclusiveness; if it's useful to users to have LinuxThreads support,
then it makes sense to include it. In addition to HPPA and
GNU/kFreeBSD, we know that ColdFire/68K Linux kernels don't presently
support NPTL either. If there are ways to let these architectures use
later (E)GLIBC, that seems desirable to me.
Of course, that's not a comment on the patches themselves, which would
need to be reviewed on their technical merits.
