Thanks for your contribution. Unless a change relates to one of the
remaining areas of differences between glibc and EGLIBC, so that it
doesn't make sense for glibc, it should go to libc-alpha and be submitted
there; I don't think we want any new areas of difference without
compelling reasons, and I hope people will help contribute many of the
changes I listed at <http://www.eglibc.org/archives/patches/msg01196.html>
to glibc so that the number of such differences can be reduced
substantially from the 28 I listed there.
I see you attached the files to a bug in glibc Bugzilla - while a bug
*should* be filed there for any issue you are fixing that has been
user-visible in a release, the patches should be sent to libc-alpha; see
the detailed instructions at
