This is OK provided this patch goes in FSF glibc before 2.8 is released
(tomorrow or Friday according to
<http://sourceware.org/ml/libc-alpha/2008-04/msg00024.html>, but ports
might release and branch a bit later); we don't want to assign symbol
versions incompatibly to FSF glibc on targets it supports.
However, I can't see the patch it's following up on the patches list, only
the reply <http://www.eglibc.org/archives/patches/msg00449.html>. Is it
stuck in moderation somewhere? Do you have other patches (related to this
or otherwise) pending review that don't appear in the list archives?
